The last time I posted was in October, so truthfully, a lot has happened since then. For starters, Ellie is taller now with longer hair and more words. She is very funny. Here is she is pretending she doesn&#8217;t know where her water is.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/12096942674\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3748\/12096942674_c366871ed0_n.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas by spending time with family.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/12139640653\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm3.staticflickr.com\/2824\/12139640653_649cd8457e_z.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas 040\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Keegan and I rang in the New Year from our couch with champagne while Ellie slept. It was wild.<\/p>\n<p>I grew my business a little more than I should have, which is one of the big reasons I haven&#8217;t been here writing to you.<\/p>\n<p>Which is not to say, I haven&#8217;t thought about you or tips I wanted to share. Like wearing 20 hair accessories can look glamorous while you clean.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/12096939914\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm3.staticflickr.com\/2846\/12096939914_9b7f15a3c3_n.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There have been recipes and products and books I have been wanting to tell you about, but I haven&#8217;t had the time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/11811733215\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5540\/11811733215_5c2908678e_z.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This year, I set a few New Year&#8217;s goals, which I&#8217;ll say are going fairly well. I have some room for improvement, but I&#8217;m making progress.<\/p>\n<p>The first is to make more time for FUN. Who doesn&#8217;t want to do that?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/12139471865\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3806\/12139471865_484bbcd280_n.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The second is to take better care of myself. (Eat smarter, start working out and buy clothes I love instead of ones I tolerate. I think massages might even be in order.) This one is proving to be a little more challenging, but I&#8217;m slowly making changes in the hopes they will be lasting ones.<\/p>\n<p>So, what have you been up to?
