\"tacos\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Taco nights are kind of a big deal at our house.\u00a0They take minimal effort and have impressive results.<\/p>\n

I’ve pulled recipes for our favorite version, but you can switch it up to match the tastebuds of your family.<\/p>\n

These\u00a0recipes are pretty enough to serve to guests, and the whole thing takes about 30 minutes to put together. I won’t let anyone know how easy it if you won’t.<\/p>\n

\"tomatoes\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Components:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whole wheat tortillas (store-bought)
\nBlack beans (recipe below)
\nToasted corn (recipe below)
\nGuacamole (recipe below)
\nSalsa (store-bought)
\nTurkey (recipe below)
\nGrape tomatoes, sliced and sprinkled with sea salt and cracked black pepper
\nFeta (store-bought)<\/p>\n

Gameplan<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Mix the spices.
\n– Prepare the beans.
\n– Brown the turkey.
\n– Toast the corn and slice the tomatoes.
\n– Mix together the guacamole.
\n– Let everyone layer their own taco. I like mine to start with beans and end with cheese.<\/p>\n

Black Beans<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients:
\n15 oz. can of black beans, rinsed and drained
\n1 tbsp. butter
\nSalt and pepper<\/p>\n

Heat the beans and butter over medium heat. Once warm, use a masher to smooth them out, leaving a few lumps. Keep warm while you prepare the other ingredients.<\/p>\n

Toasted Corn<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients:
\n1 c. frozen, white corn
\nSalt Freshly cracked black pepper<\/p>\n

In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the frozen corn until browned and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper.<\/p>\n

\"avocado\"<\/a> Guacamole<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients:
\n1 avocado
\nJuice from half of a lime
\nSalt Freshly cracked black pepper<\/p>\n

Slice an avocado in half and chop into pieces. Place in a bowl. Squeeze in lime juice and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mash together, adjusting the flavors as needed.<\/p>\n

Turkey<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients:
\n1 lb. ground turkey
\n1\/2 tsp. brown sugar
\n1 tsp. ancho chili powder
\n1 tsp. oregano<\/p>\n
