I loved her first book <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/2012\/03\/13\/is-everyone-hanging-out-without-me\/\" target=\"_blank\">Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?<\/a>,<\/em> and so, as you can imagine, I was excited to pick up\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Why-Not-Me-Mindy-Kaling\/dp\/0804138141\" target=\"_blank\">Why Not Me?<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/615\/22461031147_951ff71ff5_o.jpg\" alt=\"why-not-me\" width=\"1000\" height=\"887\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In a nutshell, this book picks up where the other left off. Her first talked a lot about lessons learned over the course of her life. This one offers insight into how things have changed now that she has become\u00a0famous. Some of my favorite parts were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A look into an &#8220;average&#8221; day on-set at\u00a0The Mindy Project.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>A <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0120148\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sliding Doors<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>take on what her life could have been had she not gone to Hollywood &#8211; complete with an imagined romance that I now want to see onscreen.<\/li>\n<li>A no B.S. look at what it takes to look camera ready.<\/li>\n<li>The description of her relationship with B.J. Novak.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have you read the book?
