So naturally, I breathed many sighs of relief. What I did not anticipate was that she would begin decorating our tree. In the days approaching Christmas, she added coasters, a wash cloth, wet wipes, jewelry, a headband, personal artwork and all the decorations from her own tree to ours. It was spectacular.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5745\/23424098533_918b50e3f8_o.jpg\" alt=\"doc-mcstuffins\" width=\"1000\" height=\"658\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For Christmas, Ellie asked for a Doc McStuffins doll, baby bear (stuffed) and a real tiger (so she could pet it). Thankfully, Santa stuck with Doc. I&#8217;m not sure where we would have stored that tiger.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5671\/23424096293_386fcb359f_o.jpg\" alt=\"pretzels\" width=\"1000\" height=\"972\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Making chocolate covered pretzels is Keegan&#8217;s favorite Christmas tradition, so we managed to work that in to the schedule. You know, for him.<\/p>\n<p>Also, you can&#8217;t see it here, but that man made nearly the entire bag and had them all\u00a0lined up in perfect rows. I&#8217;m thinking of hiring him out. For her contribution, Ellie mostly ate the chocolate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1697\/23755196510_67dd751cb0_o.jpg\" alt=\"grandpa\" width=\"1000\" height=\"706\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is Ellie with my dad. He is &#8220;full of bologna sauce.&#8221; Just ask her.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5651\/23968312001_2eb9938f3a_o.jpg\" alt=\"cookies\" width=\"1000\" height=\"633\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We made sugar cookies on Christmas Eve. It&#8217;s fun to recreate one of my favorite memories with Ellie. This year, we used <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simplyrecipes.com\/recipes\/sugar_cookies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this recipe<\/a> via Simply Recipes. It is the first one in the post.
