We packed a lot into 4 days &#8211; spa time, art galleries, great food and rooftop bars. Today, I&#8217;m sharing those favorites with you, because I&#8217;m a giver. But, in the spirit of full-disclosure, I have to give a ton of credit to my friend Kim, who is&nbsp;a trip research machine. (She gives me a run for my money.) She put together the entire itinerary for the group, which was a life saver. If you&#8217;re going with a large number of people, I can&#8217;t recommend doing this ahead of time enough. In her schedule, we all had flexibility to do what we wanted, but we didn&#8217;t spend hours trying to figure out where to go to dinner. And, she made reservations and booked an in-home chef. She is the best. Period. (Here we are in this blurry photo. I sprung for the <a href=\"https:\/\/tenthousandwaves.com\/spa\/spa-packages\/packages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buddha Treat <\/a>and loved every minute. Not everyone was into the private baths, but if you&#8217;re an introvert like me, soaking alone in a small forest felt absolutely decadent. FYI, it is up in the mountains, so you will not have wifi or cell service. However, if you make your way to the restaurant, you can get wifi to work and if needed, call your cab from there.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.okeeffemuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Georgia O&#8217;Keeffe Museum<\/a> is very well done. I learned a lot about the artist, and her story is really inspiring. Small and bright, a self-guided tour doesn&#8217;t take long and is enjoyable.<\/li><li>Rooftop bars are everywhere in Santa Fe. We went to three:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eloisasantafe.com\/baralto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bar Alto<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lafondasantafe.com\/dining-entertainment\/bell-tower-bar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Bell Tower at La Fonda<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coyotecafe.com\/cantina\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Coyote Cantina<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li><li>While most of our group opted to hike, Kim and I chose to explore the art galleries on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitcanyonroad.com\/businesses\/galleries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canyon Road<\/a>. It was one of my favorite memories from the trip and gave us a chance to see more of the city.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lorettochapel.com\/info\/our-story\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">San Loretto Chapel<\/a> is said to be home of a miracle. This tiny church is quite beautiful and a quick and easy sight to check out.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/spa-santa-fe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"933\" src=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/spa-santa-fe_700.jpg\" alt=\"santa fe girls trip ten thousand waves\" class=\"wp-image-7394\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/spa-santa-fe_700.jpg 700w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/spa-santa-fe_700-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where to Eat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>I had brunch at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moderngeneralnm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Modern General<\/a>. The food was phenomenal and so different than what I can typically find here in KC. Be sure to try the lemoncakes.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/kakawachocolates.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kakawa Chocolate House<\/a> is a must stop. Their chili infused drinking chocolate and handmade treats are unusual and show-stoppers.<\/li><li>We ate at <a href=\"http:\/\/radishandrye.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Radish and Rye <\/a>for dinner one night and loved the food, cocktails and service.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/santa-fe-sunset.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"santa fe girls trip \" class=\"wp-image-7395\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset-768x768.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset-220x220.jpg 220w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset-450x450.jpg 450w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/santa-fe-sunset.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What We Missed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With such a short trip, there were a quite a few highly recommended restaurants and experiences we didn&#8217;t have time to try. I guess there&#8217;s always next time, right? So, I&#8217;ve compiled a list of those places. href=\"https:\/\/www.elfarolsantafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">El Farol<\/a> for flamenco dancing<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/teahousesantafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Teahouse Santa Fe<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/potdc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tesuque Pueblo<\/a> (This one is 10 minutes north of Santa Fe, and you&#8217;ll need a car to get there.)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/santafebite.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Santa Fe Bite<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelloretto.com\/eat-drink\/luminaria-restaurant-patio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Luminaria Restaurant<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lachozasf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La Choza Restaurant<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clafoutis.biz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Clafoutis<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/sfshed.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Shed Restaurant<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gabrielsofsantafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gabriel\u2019s<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/marias-santafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maria\u2019s New Mexican Kitchen<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/gruetwinery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sparkling Wine Tasting at Gruet Winery <\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n<a class=\"synved-social-button synved-social-button-share
