Spouses are invited, and it&#8217;s always in a gorgeous destination. For us, it&#8217;s typically a quick trip, but this time, it was even quicker. We landed Sunday at 2:30 PM and flew out Tuesday mid-morning. So, while this is not a comprehensive guide, it will give you an idea of how to best spend 24 hours or less in Asheville, NC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/asheville-trees.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"656\" src=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/asheville-trees_700.jpg\" alt=\"24 hours or less in Asheville, nc\" class=\"wp-image-7403\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/asheville-trees_700.jpg 700w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/asheville-trees_700-300x281.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me start by saying you could easily take a weekend or longer to explore Asheville. It is lovely and in fact, would be the perfect destination for a girls&#8217; trip.&nbsp; It offers a little something for everyone &#8211; spas, great food, hiking, shopping, breweries, wineries and art. Are you ready to book your tickets? If so, I&#8217;m happy to come along as your tour guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/biltmore-estate.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"933\" src=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/biltmore-estate_700.jpg\" alt=\"24 hours or less in Asheville, nc\" class=\"wp-image-7404\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/biltmore-estate_700.jpg 700w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/biltmore-estate_700-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>24 Hours or Less in Asheville<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Start your day by exploring downtown Asheville. Some of our favorite stops were <a href=\"https:\/\/eastfork.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">East Fork<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stylethenest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nest,<\/a> but truly, the number of cute, local shops was astounding. I can&#8217;t even remember every place we stopped. We could have spent an entire day here.<\/li><li>Have lunch at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chaipaniasheville.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chai Pani<\/a>. I had the butter chicken, and my friend, Jamie, ate the lamb burgers. Both were crazy good.<\/li><li>Then, if you can, book a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biltmore.com\/tour\/red-wine-chocolate-tasting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">chocolate and red wine tasting<\/a>&nbsp;at the Biltmore Winery. The service is a little bossy, but I still really enjoyed trying the wine.<\/li><li>Take a guided tour of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biltmore.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biltmore Estate<\/a>. Call ahead to make a reservation or ask your hotel to book one for you once you&#8217;re in town. That seemed to be less expensive than purchasing ahead of time. Online, tickets are $69, but our guided tour was $25.<\/li><li>Head out to <a href=\"https:\/\/sierranevada.com\/visit\/north-carolina\/taproom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sierra Nevada&#8217;s Brewery<\/a>. The property is gorgeous. If you can, leave time to explore the grounds and try the pimento cheese.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/rainbow-girls_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"933\" src=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/rainbow-girls_2_700.jpg\" alt=\"24 hours or less in Asheville, nc\" class=\"wp-image-7405\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/rainbow-girls_2_700.jpg 700w, http:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/rainbow-girls_2_700-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What We Missed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buxtonhall.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buxton Hall BBQ<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; This restaurant is highly rated and looks delicious.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.frenchbroadchocolates.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">French Broad Chocolate Lounge<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; You can just stop in for a short visit or do a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frenchbroadchocolates.com\/pages\/visit-our-locations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tour\/tasting at their factory.<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/batteryparkbookexchange.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Battery Park Book Exchange<\/a>&nbsp; &#8211; A bookstore and CHAMPAGNE bar!!!!<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnihotels.com\/hotels\/asheville-grove-park\/wellness\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Omni Grove Park Inn&#8217;s Spa <\/a>&#8211; The spa is pricey, but one of a kind. If I&#8217;d had the time, I would have booked a service here, just to experience their pools.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/katiebuttonrestaurants.com\/curate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Curate<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; The most recommended restaurant. Plus, they serve tapas.<\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cucina24restaurant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cucina 24<\/a> &#8211; Italian food<\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/rhubarbasheville.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rhubarb<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>P.S.
