{"id":2704,"date":"2013-02-07T04:06:25","date_gmt":"2013-02-07T10:06:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/missalaneyus.com\/?p=2704"},"modified":"2014-08-03T15:11:04","modified_gmt":"2014-08-03T20:11:04","slug":"february-funk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.missalaneyus.com\/wordpress4\/2013\/02\/february-funk\/","title":{"rendered":"February Funk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, I&#8217;ve been in a little bit of a funk lately.<\/p>\n<p>I know that&#8217;s incredibly boring to say, but it&#8217;s true.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m feeling very blah.<\/p>\n<p>It might be because it&#8217;s February, but I&#8217;m finding it difficult to get excited about things.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically, this whole feeling has me thinking about Beyonc\u00e9. And her half\u00a0time performance. It was incredible. I look at her and think I bet even Beyonc\u00e9\u00a0has her moments.I bet even she sits at her house, looks at Jay-Z and Blue Ivy, and thinks, &#8220;I am bored.&#8221; This, Sasha Fierce, glama-rama woman probably has moments where she is uninspired and uninterested.<\/p>\n<p>[vimeo http:\/\/www.vimeo.com\/59002598 w=500&#038;h=281]<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/59002598\">BEYONCE &#8211; SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/thinkbreathelive\">ThinkBreatheLive<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\">Vimeo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I think these blah times are great catalysts. After a few days or weeks of it, I think, &#8220;Lane, pull it together. Let&#8217;s start having some fun.&#8221; Just like Beyonc\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>So, while I work my through this period of yuck, I&#8217;m trying to keep my eye on the weeks ahead. There are a few things I am excited about. Most of which are wrapped around spring. So, here&#8217;s my question.
