The Internet is still relatively new. The clothes are phenomenal.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 male lead,\u00a0Lincoln,\u00a0has been hired to monitor emails at a newspaper.\u00a0(Big Brother is watching.) While at work, he starts following the correspondence of two of his co-workers who are friends. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>My Thoughts:\u00a0<\/strong> <em>Attachments <\/em>is a love story, and you will find yourself falling in love with Lincoln &#8211; or at least wanting to set him up with someone you know. The book is told from his point of view, but\u00a0almost\u00a0half of it is comprised of the email chain between\u00a0the\u00a0two ladies he works with. Reading their notes back and forth reminded me of friends I&#8217;ve made at past jobs and the easy camaraderie we shared. It is one of the few things I miss about working in a traditional office &#8211; that and the holiday snacks.<\/p>\n<p>While the romance is adorable, the friendship shown via email between the two women at work is the real star of the story. Often ladies are depicted in much more sinister way when it comes to their relationships &#8211; particularly working ones\u00a0(I&#8217;m looking at you <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bravotv.com\/the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills\" target=\"_blank\">Real Housewives<\/a>.).
