First, she was excited. Then, she was afraid. But, in the end, she loved it.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"  by missalaneyus, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/16291888013\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7287\/16291888013_65bc723b6d_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We have started visiting the park again since it is warming up outside. Sometimes, I get to swing. It is my favorite still, even as an adult.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"  by missalaneyus, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/16291887183\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7612\/16291887183_70198c3545_z.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"440\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is a school near our house where we take Ellie to play. There are two slides side by side, and occasionally, she and I race. She&#8217;s very fast.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"  by missalaneyus, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/16886002556\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8744\/16886002556_7bfba3b778_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not that into holiday decorating, but since having Ellie, I&#8217;ve been making more of an effort. These <a href=\"http:\/\/www.target.com\/p\/egg-filler\/-\/A-16604204#prodSlot=medium_1_11\" target=\"_blank\">eggs from Target<\/a> were too cute to pass up. I also picked up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.target.com\/p\/happy-easter-garland\/-\/A-16604212#prodSlot=medium_1_10\" target=\"_blank\">this pennant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"  by missalaneyus, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/16724484760\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8706\/16724484760_b36e904e89_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At breakfast the other day, I caught her admiring herself in her spoon.\u00a0The fascination with mirrors is genetic. She gets it from her mama.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"  by missalaneyus, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/misslaney\/16886002016\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7644\/16886002016_762cd7ee83_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I attended <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kcfashionweek.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">KC Fashion Week<\/a> last weekend, and it was fantastic. There were lots of great looks, but this cape jacket from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.architextureclothing.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Architexture<\/a> was one of my favorites.
