Blouses are the new shirt for spring, and they’ve been popping up everywhere. Cupcakes and Cashmere recently did a post on blouses with tie necks that has some pretty cute options. That being said, these shirts can be a little difficult to style, particularly if you don’t want to look too prim.
If you’re wondering how to wear your new blouse, here are a few ideas from me:
- With a straight skirt, long belted cardi and platform pumps
- Untucked with black skinny jeans and ankle boots
- With a shrunken navy blazer, skinny jeans and brown riding boots
- Tucked into trousers with platform shoes
- Worn loose with boyfriend jeans and flats
- With a cropped tweed jacket and tucked into a full skirt paired with textured tights and ankle boots
